Looking for Date of Manufacturing Evidence
Hi All,
Sorry I am writing in English (can read some French, but not properly write it).
We are restoring a BB1 T from 1957 . We unfortunately haven't got the original papers with it and want to register it in the UK. The vehicle Agency requires a Evidence of date of manufacturing. This can be obtained on two ways (according to the agency):
- from the manufacturer
- or alternative reliable source like a enthusiast club
I can share the framenumber: 196470 and engine number has a plate with 1975 on it
Can someone help us with this ?

Hi mates,
I'm sorry but no Peugeot BB T were produced in 1957. They came out later, in 1959.
Also, given the framenumber you gave us, it looks like your peugeot BB was produced late 1959 or right at the start of 1960.

Thanks for the reply. That is strange. See photo's of the plate on the engine and the engine.
Any idea where that is related to then ?
Is there a person that could help us with the identification of this moped, so we can ask the agency here to approve driving it ?

- Vehicle make and model
- in English
If this is called certificate or certification that would be great.

You have a number on the drum of the carb with the date. It should be like that : d 10 or 12. (I'm not sure) xxx.x.month.year.
The frame number is on the mount of the rear wheel. In the left or the right.

What we now need is an official letter of the club (with logo) as stated before.
Someone willing to give us such a letter ? Or some details so we can write it ourselves ?
